Forever in a Night
2021
This is a children's book that I illustrated and wrote in 2021. The story is about a little girl and her grandfather, where he brought her out to see the stars one day knowing that he will leave this earth anytime soon. Just before he left, the grandfather told the little girl to look up at the stars when he is no longer physically around, and find comfort knowing that he is always watching her from above - as her protector and her star.
Rises the Moon
2022
This work features a self-portraiture of myself and the deer. Its surreal, dream-like quality draws partly from my own incomplete memories of my experiences with loss. One of the ways my mind coped with these traumatic losses was by leaving myself with a foggy memory of the whole experience. The use of symbolism is shown through the elements in my work.

We All Share The Same Sky is a collection of postcards sent between people from all walks of life. They contain personalised messages that explores the theme of grief and loss, as well as the relationship between the different parties.
